While there is an A&W closer to home, this tends to be our favored location. [The extra drive is also a bit relaxing after a long day at work]
Their Rootbeer has remained solid from the days of childhood til now and definitely a treat.
Frequent 2 can Dine coupons are a bonus and makes it a nice treat.
The one thing to look out for though, is their fries.
While A&W has changed their fries and makes really awesome fries [that are easy to power through a bag very quickly], we find that we have to ask them to make a fresh batch when we go after work [Usually around the 9:30pm time frame]. Sadly, we've had the odd experience with fries that had been sitting under the heat lamp for too long and just aren't great. But the fact they are willing to whip up a small fresh batch for us makes the few minute wait worth it.
Also a nice touch? If it will take a few minutes, they kindly let you know and offer to let you park in the ample parking around the corner and they bring out the food to you. Not on rollerskates mind you... that would be awesome! But any small wait has always been met with a smile and great food. -

I usually love A&W, however I am not impressed with this particular venue. I had to repeat my order, no joke, three times (excusable, maybe I was mumbling). We checked our order before leaving, and yes, everything was in the box. When we got home however, there was no cheese on my beyond-the-meat burger, even though you pay extra for cheese! AND mustard and ketchup on the burger which I had said THREE times to hold. Our fries were mushy, and tasted like they had been made yesterday. When you pay $28 for two burger combos you expect them to be a little better than what we received. I think this was our last A&W stop. If I'm going to be paying this much for food I'm going to go to a nice sit down restaurant.

Wednesday at noon went in and ordered a Teen burger & onion rings. Got my tray and sat down and chewed into the most greasy and stale old ring that went past my lips. Bite the burger, not bad. Back to the rings...WTH...started pulling out the rings from the basket and most were old crispy "onion skins" & something foreign!! Called the girl over and asked her what that burnt thing was? "Oh that's s sweet potato fry." That's not an onion ring is it? Nor are the rest of these. Please take them back to the owner and ask him if he'd eat them? I want my coupon back!
Finished my burger and never got approached by the owner. I had to go up and ask him for my coupon back. Walked out, never to return again to this location!' -

This is not really the best fast food place I have been to. I went there and asked for a burger and milkshake but they said they did not sell that burger any more and said they do not make milkshakes even though it says on their menu. So I asked for a different burger and said they stopped making 3 of my favorite burgers. Then my son said that he loved his chicken they are way way overpriced for that. In total for my burger and chicken tenders it was 18 dollars .I considered putting 2 stars but I do not think it is worthy enough I do not recommend this place

Ah, A&W. Where would I be without you? Much more thirsty for sure..
Parking is ample, as this location is in the middle of a strip mall. This location has a drive-through as well.
The location gets a little busy during lunchtime.
I had the 2-piece Chubby Chicken combo. It was actually quite filling. It's really nice that the packets of ketchup here are 3 times larger than the competition. The chicken itself was actually really good!
A&W also has what I feel are some of the best fries in the industry (the other place being Harvey's). Crispy, not too oily, and not too salty.
Their trademark Root Beer is sickening sweet, but always delivers. You may not want to try their coleslaw though. It tastes really strange.
The only thing is that their meals are pretty pricey. This combo set me back $9 after tax. Thank goodness someone else was paying.
